Eldon Square in Newcastle is set to become one of the UK’s largest city-centre shopping destinations.

The £170 million redevelopment programme, a joint partnership between Capital Shopping Centres PLC and Newcastle City Council culminates with the opening of a brand new mall, St Andrew’s Way, in February 2010.

St Andrew’s Way, anchored by a four-storey Debenhams, will house flagship stores for high profile retailers including River Island, New Look and Topshop. Popular high street names including Tesco Metro, Burton, Dorothy Perkins, Miss Selfridge, Schuh, Republic and Paperchase will also feature. In addition fantastic new retailers to the centre will also include Hollister, Superdry, Guess, All Saints and Oasis as well as two great new restaurants from Lau’s 202.
